About The Rock of Cashel
The Rock of Cashel, also known as St. Patrick's Rock, is a historic site in County Tipperary. This spectacular group of medieval buildings set on an outcrop of limestone includes a round tower, a cathedral, a chapel, and a high cross, all amidst the backdrop of the Irish countryside. Legend has it that St. Patrick converted the King of Munster here, making it a site of significant historical and religious importance.
