Do travellers pay through Tourfect?

No. Travellers send you a booking request with no payment. Once you accept it, you agree payment with them directly.

Why does my site say “coming soon”?

Your site goes live when you confirm your email address. Click the link in the email we sent when you signed up. To get a new link, go to Home in your dashboard and click Send the link again.

Where do my tours show?

Every tour with Live: show it on your site and in the marketplace ticked shows on your site and in the Tourfect marketplace at tourfect.ie/tours.

How do I hide a tour without deleting it?

  1. In your dashboard, click Tours.
  2. Click the tour’s name.
  3. Click Edit tour.
  4. Untick Live: show it on your site and in the marketplace.
  5. Click Save changes.

Can I delete a tour?

Yes. Open the tour and click Delete. This can’t be undone, so if you might run it again, hide it instead.

Can I copy a tour?

Yes. Open the tour and click Duplicate. The copy is called “Copy of” and the tour’s name, and it stays hidden until you tick Live. It copies the details, prices, start times, photos, questions and the days you’ve marked. It doesn’t copy reviews, bookings or requests.

What photos work best?

Portrait photos (4:5) look best. You can add up to 8 photos to each tour, as PNG, JPEG or WebP files, up to 5 MB each. The first photo is the cover.

How do reviews from guests work?

After a confirmed booking, we email the guest after their tour and ask them for a review. New reviews wait under Site content, in Reviews, until you click Publish. To stop these emails, untick Ask guests for a review the day after their tour on that page, then click Save.

What’s the “Hosted on Tourfect” bar?

A small bar under the footer of your site. It always shows on your Tourfect address. On Pro and Custom, it doesn’t show on your own domain.
