Confirm your email

Confirm your email address, then send your site for review.

Updated

When you sign up, we email you a link to confirm your email address. It’s the first step to putting your site live: once you’ve confirmed it, you can send your site for review.

Why your site says coming soon

Your site stays private until you’ve confirmed your email and the Tourfect team has approved your site. Until then, visitors see a “coming soon” page, and your tours aren’t in the Tourfect marketplace.

You can still build your site. When you’re signed in, you see your own site with a bar at the top that says only you can see it.

Confirm your address

  1. Find our email with the subject “Welcome to Tourfect: confirm your email for” followed by your business’s name.
  2. Click the link in it. It works for 7 days, and you don’t need to be signed in, so you can open it on your phone.

We show “Thanks, your email is confirmed”. Next, send your site for review from Home. See Send your site for review.

Can’t find the email

It comes from Tourfect, to the email address you signed up with. If it isn’t in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder, and any other tabs like Promotions.

Until you confirm, Home shows a Confirm your email box with the address we sent the link to.

  1. Go to Home in your dashboard.
  2. Under Confirm your email, click Send the link again.

The Confirm your email box on Home

We send a new link to your address, with the subject “Confirm your email for” followed by your business’s name. If you ask for several in a short time, we ask you to wait an hour before the next one.

If a link has expired, we show “That confirmation link has expired or isn’t valid”. Log in and click Send the link again.

If you’ve changed your email address on your account page, links sent to your old address stop working. Send the link again to get one at your new address.
